Job Title: HVAC Filter Service Technician

Job Description

We are looking for experienced service technicians skilled in mechanical and HVAC maintenance. The role involves traveling within a 100-mile radius of Boston to perform essential tasks such as changing dirty air filters, replacing belts, and cleaning coils. Technicians are required to drive to the headquarters in Wilmington each day to pick up their truck, as it cannot be taken home. Upon completion of each service, technicians will asset tag to signal completion.

Responsibilities

• Travel to client locations within a 100-mile radius of Boston to perform maintenance tasks.
• Replace dirty air filters and belts as needed.
• Clean coils and perform preventive maintenance.
• Asset tag equipment post-service to ensure completion.
• Drive to headquarters in Wilmington daily to pick up service vehicle.

Essential Skills

• 4-6 years of mechanical maintenance experience, specifically with air filters and coil cleaning.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repair.
• Experience with hand tools.
• Valid driver's license.
• Comfortable driving for long periods.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• HVAC experience is a plus.
• Understanding of electrical systems and installation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Work Environment

The majority of our clients are Boston public schools, with additional clients including pharmaceutical and biotech companies, hospitals, event venues, manufacturing facilities, offices, and retail locations. You will be comfortable working on ladders and in various facility conditions.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wilmington, MA.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Wilmington,MA.
