Full Steam Staffing is hiring Filter Operators in Buttonwillow, CA! This position is responsible for safely operating and monitoring membrane filtration equipment used in juice production. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, safety-minded, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

• Location: Buttonwillow, CA
• Shifts: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
• Pay Rate: $19.00/hour
• Benefits: Medical, Dental, AD&D

As a Filter Operator, you will operate and monitor filtration equipment used to clarify juice and maintain product quality. You will monitor product flow, tank levels, pressure, temperature, and quality readings while following safety, sanitation, and production procedures.

• Safely operate and monitor membrane filtration equipment.
• Complete equipment and start-up checks before production.
• Prepare and verify hoses, valves, and filtration equipment.
• Monitor tank levels and product flow throughout production.
• Monitor filtration pressure, temperature, Brix, and other process conditions.
• Perform required quality and turbidity testing.
• Verify product meets established quality requirements.
• Direct product flow to the correct destination.
• Monitor equipment for pressure issues, flow interruptions, pump problems, leaks, alarms, or other concerns.
• Report equipment, quality, and production issues to the appropriate team.
• Complete production, quality, testing, downtime, and cleaning documentation.
• Perform assigned cleaning and sanitation activities, including CIP procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and production-ready work area.
• Follow all safety, food safety, sanitation, and operating procedures.
• Work closely with Production, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Sanitation teams.
• Communicate important production updates and equipment issues during shift handoffs.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous production or equipment operating experience preferred.
• Ability to follow written procedures and safety instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to monitor equipment and identify problems.
• Basic troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical production tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

This position may involve exposure to moving mechanical equipment, vibration, bright lighting, and cleaning chemicals. Proper safety procedures and PPE must be followed.
